Business Development Manager

Prairie Centre Credit Union is currently seeking Business Development Manager for our Eatonia branch. Successful applicants must be community-minded individuals. This position reports to the Regional Manager Sales.

 

Qualifications:

·      Previous financial industry experience is a must (Credit Union experience is a definite asset)

·      Proven agricultural, consumer and commercial lending experience

·      Strong decision making problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills

·      Ability to be adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing environment

·      Committed to ongoing professional development

·      Thorough understanding of and commitment to change management

·      Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite

·      Post secondary education and/or the Associate or Fellow of the Credit Union Institute  of Canada

 

Successful candidates will be:

·      Responsible for the overall business activities and day-to-day operation of the branch

·      Manage a loan portfolio comprised primarily of agriculture and consumer loans

·      Provide performance management by leading, coaching and guiding staff in developing individual action plans

·      Able to motivate staff to succeed in achieving their targeted goals

·      Responsible for the professional development of all employees

·      Actively demonstrate a leadership role through business development initiatives and growth of deposit and loan portfolios

·      Develop/implement an annual budget and branch plan consistent with Prairie Centre’s vision and strategic initiatives

·      Proactive and committed to promoting a sales culture based on member needs

·      Provide exceptional member service

 

Candidates must possess an aptitude for relationship building, numerical reasonability, and be proactive in a sales culture.  The successful candidate will have opportunities for personal and professional growth within an environment that promotes continuous learning and cooperative values.
