Alberta credit unions celebrate #better for you banking

Oct 18, 2017
On October 19, 2017, Alberta credit unions will recognize International Credit Union Day (ICU Day), reflecting on and celebrating the extraordinary history and achievements of the Canadian credit union industry.  ICU Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948.

Credit unions across Alberta will be recognizing ICU Day in their branches and communities. We invite you to drop in to your local branch as we celebrate a movement that focuses on people before profit in delivering financial services.

This year’s ICU Day theme is #better for you – celebrating the many ways credit unions provide financial services that deliver on the better promise. Alberta credit unions celebrate ICU Day because we believe banking can, and should be, #better for you.

On ICU Day, Alberta credit unions join the more than 217 million credit union members around the world in delivering financial services that focus on making #better for you our fundamental approach in delivering banking services.
